1700 N. Congress Avenue Austin, TX Texas Government Code, ?2306.111(d) and ?2306.1115 requires that TDHCA use a Regional Allocation Formula ("RAF") to allocate funding for its HOME, Housing Tax Credit, and Housing Trust Fund programs. The RAF uses appropriate statistical data to measure need for housing assistance, the availability of housing resources, and other factors relevant to the equitable distribution of housing funds in urban and rural areas of the state. The RAF is revised annually to reflect current data, respond to public comment, and better assess regional housing needs and available resources.The Draft 2016 RAF Methodology is available for official public comment from July 17, 2015, through August 6, 2015, at 6:00pm Central Time. A public hearing will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015, 2:00 p.m. Central at the Stephen F. Austin Building, Room 170, 1700 North Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78701.
