- Ensure attainment the of the best value for the Department in the acquisition of goods and services according to state rules and regulations.
- Create awareness of the Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) community and the Agency’s HUB Outreach Program throughout the Department.
- Increase knowledge of available HUB opportunities in Department procurements.
- Ensure an equal opportunity for all HUB’s to compete and successfully receive awards for goods and services.
- Increase the number of awards to HUB vendors.
- Enhance awareness of TDHCA’s commitment to HUB participation through outreach programs, vendor training, and participation in HUB Expositions and Forums.
- Encourage and assist potential HUB vendors to be certified through the State Comptroller of Public Accounts, Texas Procurement and Support Services (TPASS).
