TDHCA aims to pass to you, and your QC specialists, all that we have learned about weatherization QA/QC during the last 18 months of ARRA.
This is mandatory training (100% Subrecipient attendance). It is strongly encouraged that every Subrecipient sends their Senior Program Managers and QA/QC Specialists/Managers to this training.

2405 Robert Dedman Drive Austin, TX The Department will be hosting a CEAP Roundtable Discussion on Friday September 9, 2011 from 8:30am to 12:00pm to discuss the removal of the Heating and Cooling component from the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) beginning in PY 2012. One member from each CEAP subrecipient agency is invited to attend the CEAP Roundtable Discussion.
The goals of the CEAP Roundtable Discussion are 1) to allow TDHCA staff to inform and provide detail to the CEAP network of this impending change and 2) to have an open discussion and solicit comments from CEAP agencies.
Following the CEAP Roundtable Discussion, CEAP agencies will have the opportunity to submit written comments to the Department through Friday September 16, 2011. The Department will then review all comments received to develop proposed TAC Rule changes. The CEAP network will have the opportunity to review TAC Rule changes and provide comment throughout the rule development process.

The four priority areas in the plan are: (1) Data, research, and analysis; (2) Affordable housing and supportive services; (3) Homelessness prevention; and (4) State infrastructure. The forum will remain open until January 12, 2012, when the comment period closes.
During the public hearings, the Texas Interagency Council for the Homeless (TICH) will take input related to these four priority areas, the plan in general, and the State's response to homelessness.
TICH asks that speakers with prepared written comment provide TICH representatives with a copy of their oral testimony at the time of the hearing.
