Texas Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness
On October 4th, TICH released the Texas Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness for public comment. The public comment period closed on January 12, 2012. The plan is under review while the Council assesses comments. The Council anticipates releasing the final document in April.
Public Hearings
TICH held public hearings across the state to gather communities’ input on the plan. Hearings were held in Corpus Christi (11/17), San Antonio (11/18), Fort Worth (11/29), Dallas (11/29), Plano (11/29), Houston (12/1), El Paso (12/2), Laredo (12/5), Austin (12/13), and Lubbock (1/10).
