200 East 10th Street Austin, TX The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) will hold a public hearing for public comment on proposed amendments to 10 TAC Chapter 5, Subchapter D, Sections 5.402, 5.405 - 5.408, 5.422 ? 5.424, 5.426, and 5.431, Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) concerning the removal of the Heating and Cooling Component from the program. The amended sections are proposed in order to achieve greater overall benefit to CEAP clients and to increase overall effectiveness of available CEAP funds.
The public comment period will be held between November 26, 2011 to December 6, 2011 to receive input on the proposed amendments.
Local officials and citizens are encouraged to participate in the hearing process.
