The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Compliance Staff will host a virtual training with regards what happens before, during and after a monitoring review. The virtual training will be held from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.This training will focus on the process of a monitoring review, both desk and on-site. The training will go through the steps a monitor takes to prepare for a review, what happens during the review and how the monitor completes the review. The training will also go over the corrective action process. All affordable housing property owners, management personnel and on-site staff that operate a development should attend the training. The course is taught by TDHCA compliance staff and will cover 10 TAC §10 Subchapter F Compliance Monitoring Rules. The virtual training will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on October 25, 2022.This training will focus on the monitoring and inspection requirements for developments that have completed the first 15 years of the affordability period. All affordable housing property owners, management personnel and on-site staff that operate a development that has completed, or is nearing completion of, its Federal Compliance Period are encouraged to attend. The course is taught by TDHCA compliance staff and will cover 10 TAC §10.623 Monitoring Procedures for Housing Tax Credit Properties After the Compliance Period.
