The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Compliance Division will present a live webinar CMTS Training and Frequently Asked Questions on April 4, 2023, from 9 am until 11 am, Austin local time. The Department developed an interactive training that goes over the requirements of the Compliance Monitoring and Tracking System (CMTS). This webinar will review how to complete a filing agreement, submit reports and attachments, and answer frequently asked questions about CMTS. Department staff will present the training in a live webinar. There is no cost for the training; however, registration is required. If you are not able to join us for the live presentation, you will be able to view the webinar on TDHCA's YouTube channel at a later date, and call or email agency staff with any follow-up questions. Registration will begin at 8:00 am and the training will begin promptly at 8:30 am.The Income Determination Training focuses on eligibility requirements of TDHCA's various affordable housing programs. All affordable housing property owners and managers, and all HOME program contract administrators are invited to attend. The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA), Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA), and Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) prepared the draft 2023 State of Texas Consolidated Plan: One-Year Action Plan (Plan) in accordance with 24 CFR 91.320. TDHCA coordinates the preparation of the State of Texas Consolidated Plan documents. The Plan covers the State's Administration of the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) by TDA, the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS Program (HOPWA) by DSHS, the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program, the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program, and the National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) Program by TDHCA. The Plan reflects the intended uses of funds received by the State of Texas from HUD for Program Year 2021. The Program Year begins on September 1, 2023 and ends on August 31, 2024.
