1400 Congress Ave., Room 140 Austin, TX The Multifamily Finance Division of the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs ("TDHCA") will hold the first planning meeting for the 2019 Qualified Allocation Plan ("QAP") and Uniform Multifamily Rules on December 14, 2017. The meeting will be held after the TDHCA Governing Board Meeting concludes, at approximately 1:30 p.m., at the same location, the John H. Reagan Building, Room 140. The agenda for this meeting will include discussing proposed topics for the 2019 QAP Roundtables, which will be held on a monthly basis. TDHCA staff will propose a list of topics and welcomes stakeholder input. Multifamily Finance staff also hope to discuss the possibility of adding new scoring criteria regarding proximity to employment areas to the 2019 QAP.Meeting materials, including the Project Plan, will be posted to the Department's website http://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/multifamily/nofas-rules.htm prior to the meeting. The SLIHP offers a comprehensive reference on statewide housing needs, housing resources, and strategies for funding allocations. It reviews TDHCA's housing programs, current and future policies, resource allocation plans to meet state housing needs, and reports on performance during the preceding state fiscal year (September 1, 2016, through August 31, 2017).

The roundtable will begin at 2 p.m. and may extend to 5 p.m., Austin local time. It will be located in Room 170 of the Stephen F. Austin Building, 1700 North Congress Avenue, Austin. The agenda for this meeting will include discussing the Opportunity Index, including how to weight certain items within it to allow for more scoring differentiation. The donations must be used to provide grants to counties and municipalities to combat homelessness. House Bill 4102 also requires TDHCA to adopt rules governing the Fund. The hearing is regarding an issue of tax-exempt multifamily residential rental development revenue bonds in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $13,000,000 and taxable bonds, if necessary, in an amount to be determined, to be issued in one or more series (the "Bonds"), by the Issuer. The proceeds of the Bonds will be loaned to The Preserve at Hunters Crossing, L.P., a Texas limited partnership, or a related person or affiliate thereof (the "Borrower"), to finance the costs of acquiring and constructing a multifamily housing development. The housing development is described as follows: an approximately 140-unit multifamily housing development to be located at 210 Hunters Crossing Blvd., Bastrop, Bastrop County, Texas 78602 (the "Development"). Upon the issuance of the Bonds, the Development will be owned by the Borrower.
