Roundtable | 2013 Qualified Allocation Plan Roundtable
09:00 AM
06/15/2012
Thompson Conference Center
2405 Robert Dedman Dr. Austin, TX The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (the "Department") will host a roundtable discussion on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to solicit feedback from interested individuals regarding possible changes to the 2013 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP), HOME, Multifamily Revenue Bonds, NSP and General rules. The Department recognizes that in response to the Memorandum Opinion and Order judgment against the Department and the pending process of developing a Remedial Plan (we have submitted our proposal and ICP will now have an opportunity to express its objections) there will need to be changes made to the QAP. The purpose of the roundtable is to provide the public with some basic information with regard to the schedule and expectations for approval of a 2013 QAP and to solicit feedback regarding QAP (as well as other multifamily rules) requirements that may have been problematic, in particular during the 2012 Competitive Housing Tax Credit cycle. The goal is to receive suggestions for improvement heading into the 2013 program year.
Please RSVP to Misael Arroyo at mailto:Misael.Arroyo@tdhca.state.tx.us no later than Wednesday, June 13, 2012. In the subject line please indicate topics of concern that you would like to have discussed for agenda planning purposes.
