Border Field Offices
The Office of Colonia (OCI) Division manages three border
field offices located in El Paso, Laredo and Edinburg. These
border field offices administer at the local level various
OCI programs and services, provide technical assistance
to nonprofits, for profits, units of general local government,
other community organizations and colonia residents along
the Texas-Mexico border region.
Current funding for the border field offices is partially
funded from General Revenue, Bond Funds, HOME and CDBG.
The OCI Division will continue to maintain these three border
field offices. These border field offices will continue
to act as a liaison between the state and local organizations.
