9% HTC Competitive Application Schedule for 2014 (§11.2 of the QAP)

January 2, 2014: Application Acceptance Period begins
January 16, 2014: 9% HTC Pre-Application Final Delivery Date
February 28, 2014: Full Application Delivery Date
April 1, 2014: Final Input from Elected Officials Delivery Date
Market Analysis Delivery Date
May 1, 2014: Challenges to Neighborhood Organization Opposition Delivery Date
May 7, 2014: Application Challenges Deadline
Mid-May 2014: Final Scoring Notices Issued for Majority of Applications Considered "Competitive"
June 13, 2014: Deadline for public comment to be included in a summary to the Board at a posted meeting.
June 2014: Release of Eligible Applications for Consideration for Award in July.
July 2014: Final 9% Awards.
Mid-August 2014: Commitments are Issued.
November 3, 2014: Carryover Documentation Delivery Date.
July 1, 2015: 10 Percent Test Documentation Delivery Date.
December 31, 2016: Placement in Service.
Administrative Deficiency Deadline: Administrative deficiency deadlines are due five (5) business days after the date on the Deficiency Notice (without incurring a point loss unless an extension has been granted).

4% Non-Competitive HTC and Bond Application Schedule for 2014

The 4% HTC and Bond Application cycle is rolling.  See the 2014 Bond Pre-Application Submission Timeline posted on the Apply for Funds page.

HOME Application Schedule for 2014

HOME 2013 applications were due on December 30, 2013.  Deadlines for the 2014 year are forthcoming.

*Public comment does not impact the Pre-Application score but is highly valued by staff and the governing Board. TDHCA welcomes input during the public comment period, although only specific forms of public comment may impact the score of a full application.
