Notice to Tax Entities regarding information used to file liens
A substantial number of tax liens filed and being filed have been identified with artificial label or serial numbers, none of which may be matched with an ownership record. Because these liens do not identify an actual HUD Code manufactured home identification number, and because these artificial liens will never be enforceable, we will no longer be accepting them. Any tax lien received which does not reflect a recognizable HUD Code manufactured home label or serial number is considered an improperly completed form and will be returned as unrecordable.
