The Contract for Deed Program Helps Four Colonia Residents
The HOME Program currently provides funding for organizations to help Colonia residents convert residential property under a contract for deed into a traditional mortgage so that ownership may be attained. The New and Improved Cardenas Family
The HOME Program has successfully assisted another family in securing safe and sanitary housing. Through the Homeowner Rehabilitation Assistance program (HRA), Diana Cardenas and her children: Carolina, Carla, Carina, Jose Alfredo, and Caren, now enjoy an improved family environment since the reconstruction of their home in August 2010. Ms. Nealy Becomes a Homeowner
Ms. Nealy is a recipient of HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds under the Homebuyer Assistance (HBA) Program administered by TDHCA. Ms. Nealy purchased her home in March 2010 after renting for over twenty years. She is extremely thankful for her new home. More »
