TDHCA Schedules 13 Public Hearings to Accept Comment on Department Policies, Rules, and Planning Documents
TDHCA will hold a series of 13 public hearings across the state to accept comment on several proposed policy and rule changes and planning documents required by the Texas Legislature or the federal government. Among these documents are the proposed 2004 Qualified Allocation Plan and Rules (QAP) which contain the methods by which the Department will administer the 2004 Housing Tax Credit Program allocation.
Other key TDHCA policies, programs, and services for which the Department will accept comment include rules administering the Multifamily Bond Finance Program, HOME Investment Partnerships Program, and Housing Trust Fund; Regional Allocation Formula; Affordable Housing Needs Score, and seven others.
The Department has scheduled hearings for Longview, Dallas, Wichita Falls, Lubbock, San Angelo, El Paso, Austin, San Antonio, Harlingen, Corpus Christi, Waco, Lufkin, and Houston.
