Board to Finalize Key Rules, Guidelines, Planning Documents
TDHCA's Governing Board at its November 12 meeting will vote on a number of important program rules, allocation and service guidelines, policies, and planning documents, all of which will have a significant impact on the manner in which the Department administers its programs. Persons interested in TDHCA's programs and services, affordable housing, and community services are encouraged to attend this meeting or view the results posted to this website.
Among the agenda items the Board will discuss and approve are the Qualified Allocation Plan and Rules, which outlines the methods by which the Department will administer the 2005 Housing Tax Credit Program allocation; HOME Program Rules and Guidelines; Housing Trust Fund Rules; Regional Allocation Formula; Affordable Housing Needs Score; and five other sets of program rules or planning documents. TDHCA held a series of 13 public hearings earlier this fall across the state to accept comment on these items.
